Bilt Rent Day March Promotion
The Bilt Mastercard is an incredible no annual fee card especially for those who rent. It allows you to pay your rent on your credit card even if your landlord doesn’t accept credit card payments, all for no fee.
On the first of each month, Bilt offers a promotion where you get double points (excluding rent) as well as different transfer bonus opportunities. While this month’s Rent Day promotion isn’t as exciting as last month’s, there’s an easy opportunity to earn 2,000 points.
Earn 2-6x Bilt Points on Rent Day Purchases
On every day besides the 1st of every month, you earn the following:
3x points on dining
2x points on travel
1x points on all other purchases
From 12am EST to 11:59pm PST every purchase you make will receive double points. So for those roughly 27 hours you’ll earn the following:
6x points on dining
4x points on travel
2x points on all other purchases
1x points on rent (this is never doubled)
On the first of every month, this card turns into one of the best cards out there, certainly for dining, most travel (airfare is still best on the American Express Platinum earning 5x points), and all other purchases. Even if you don’t rent, this card still makes a lot of sense to pick up.
With this offer, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus points each month. Now keep in mind, to earn points on your rent payments you need to make at least 5 transactions per month so you could strategically make those 5 purchases (if not more) on Rent Day.
Easy Way to Earn 2,000 Bilt Points
With Bilt’s March Rent Day promotion you can earn 1,000 points for linking a new credit or debit card up to 2,000 points. So to max this out you’ll need to add two cards. All you need to do is go into your account and select Wallet and you’ll see where you can add them. They say it takes up to 72 hours for the points to post, but mine posted almost immediately.
Why Link Other Cards?
You can earn Bilt Points on spend with any credit or debit card. You’ll automatically earn additional Bilt points when using your linked cards in the following places:
Flights and hotels booked through Bilt
I typically steer clear of booking flights through online travel agencies like this
Bild Dining Restaurants
Link the card you earn the most on dining like the American Express Gold
Rideshare with Lyft
Link the card you earn the most on Lyft rides like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Preferred
Fitness classes booked through Bilt
Rent payments (up to 250 points per month)
If you pay rent, you should 100% just get the Bilt Mastercard
Wrapping Up
Bilt is back with their monthly Rent Day promotion. In addition to earning double points on all purchases they are offering up to a 2,000 bonus points just by linking two other cards. Don’t sleep on the Bilt Mastercard. Even if you don’t rent, this card could make a lot of sense to have in your wallet.
